Celeste Flannery, DVM
Dr. Celeste Flannery was born in the Caribbean Islands. She and her husband, Tim, moved to the Verde Valley in 2000. She went to work at one of the local veterinary clinics and when that clinic was sold, she went to Phoenix to work for a couple of years. Upon Dr. Flannery's return, she and her husband opened Airpark Animal Hospital. They are in their 12th year of operation.
Dr. Flannery holds degrees in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida and her Veterinary Medicine Degree is from Purdue University. Celeste's greatest professional accomplishment is her ongoing certificate from the Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice. The members are committed to 5 times the continuing education as non-members.
Catherine Byrnes, DVM
Catherine Byrnes, DVM, joined Airpark Animal Hospital in September 2014. A 1996 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, she practiced small animal medicine and surgery in her native Massachusetts for nineteen years before migrating west to settle in the Cottonwood area. Her professional interests include exceptional wellness care, preventive medicine, and promotion of the human-animal bond though client education. "It is my honor and privilege to provide lifelong care to pets and their families."
When she isn't working, Dr. Byrnes is hiking with her dog, riding her motorcycle, and working in her yard. She is also involved in her community. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, and needlework. She is the pet parent to one dog and servant of two cats.
